What QueueTify is

QueueTify is a collaborative music request platform. Audience members request YouTube videos for a live host, and hosts run their shows from a console. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in, we store the name, email address, and (optionally) a profile photo you provide. Your name is shown to hosts and other audience members when you request a song or leave a rating.
• Photos you upload. A profile photo or performer photo you upload is stored on our servers at a public link so it can appear beside your name in shows, rankings, and hosted show pages.
• Show activity. Requests you submit (the video title, link, and who requested it), ratings and comments you leave, and the shows you join are stored so the queue, rankings, and rate prompts work.
• Performer profiles. Hosts can add a stage name, photo, bio, social links, and venue details. This information is shown to the audience by design.
• Show door passwords. If a host protects a show with a password, we store only a salted hash of it on our servers. The password itself is never stored and cannot be read back.
• Messages to us. Suggestions and messages you send through the suggestion box or contact page, including the name and email you enter, are stored so we can read and reply to them.
• Usage and measurement information. We record basic analytics events (such as when a show starts or a song request is created) and use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement, which receive a pseudonymous account identifier and event data so we can count sign-ups and understand how the app is used. These events do not include the content of your requests, your show passwords, or your messages to us.
• Notifications. If you allow notifications, your browser or device provides a push token we use to deliver queue alerts. You can turn notifications off in your browser or device settings at any time.

How we use information

• To run the service: connecting you to shows, building the request queue, keeping queues and rankings up to date, and delivering notifications.
• To show your name, rating activity, and (if provided) profile photo to others in the show, which is the point of a collaborative queue.
• To improve QueueTify and to respond to the messages you send us.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not send you marketing email through the app.
• We do not use your show passwords or messages to us for advertising.

Third-party services

QueueTify relies on a few outside services to work. When you use them, their own policies apply to what they collect:

• YouTube. Song requests use the YouTube Data API to look up public video information, and videos play in YouTube's embedded player. Your interactions with YouTube are governed by Google's policies.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement. We use Google's measurement tools to count sign-ups and app activity. They receive a pseudonymous account identifier and event data, not your name, email address, or the content of your requests.
• Base44. QueueTify is hosted on Base44, which stores the app's database, uploaded photos, and delivers push notifications on our behalf.

How long we keep information

We keep your account and activity while your account exists so shows and history keep working. When you delete your account, we delete your account information, your requests, your ratings, and your notifications.

Your choices

• You can edit or delete your own song requests from the queue while a show is running.
• You can sign out at any time from the profile tab.
• You can delete your account and its data from the profile tab, or by contacting us.

Children

QueueTify is intended for use at live shows in venues such as restaurants, bars, and karaoke halls. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new "last updated" date.
